Our Founder

Growing up in China Spring, Texas you could often find me knocking on a neighbor’s door asking to mow their lawn. From learning to plant trees with my dad to managing multi-million dollar projects, landscaping has always been my passion. After completing my contract with the Army and moving home at the age of 22, COVID hit. Nobody would even give an interview at the time. That’s when I remembered trimming trees in Georgia just off base for some weekend money.

I decided to try and do it on my own. “Rieger Landscape” I learned a lot as a young business owner, about life, and landscaping. After a couple years I took on a job in College Station, Texas as a project manager for a very large company. This is where I realized the potential of my field. After a year there, my wife got pregnant and we decided to come back to our roots. I came home and rebranded the company,  “Ginwood Services” named after an old road I used to fish near during my time in the army.
